[Verse 1]
He saw her smiling on a summer night
A couple strangers — everything felt right
From different worlds, so far yet drawing near
Everyone could feel the magic here

[Pre]
During every call they talk in detail
How a love like theirs could never fail
Despite the gap, the distance and the rain
A few sweet words are all they need to say

[Chorus]
So much in common, baby, you and I
Each little dream, everywhere we fly
True love consists of moments, yours and mine
Due to your light, my world will always shine
No if, no maybe running through my mind
You're the one exception I could find

[Verse 2]
For breakfast he would fry an egg or two
They eat, they laugh — there's nothing they can't do
His jacket on the chair, that book is hers
A tiny cat with soft and shiny fur
Many bills are due, they pay the fee
Still richer than a king could ever be

[Bridge]
When he caught the flu, she held him through the night
“Oh my god,” he whispered, “you're my light”
No gun, no storm can tear this love apart
She found herself at home inside his heart
He swore to himself he'd never be away
If she falls over, he will catch her sway

[Outro]
Hip to the rhythm, dancing through the night
They cope with every storm and hold on tight
Few ever find a bond that shines this true
More than likely, it was meant for you
Either way, no matter where they go
Into forever — this is all they know
A lucky guy still takes her hand today
Except for her, no heart could make him stay
This little love itself will light the way

3. consist of(〜から成る): 自動詞で受動態にしません(× is consisted of)。be made up of と同じ意味です。

The Noodle Shop

English

Minh was a quiet guy who ran a small noodle shop. Every morning he would fry eggs and noodles for the workers of the street, charging only a small fee. Everyone loved his cooking. His days were simple — wake up, cook, smile — and he enjoyed them, except for one thing: sometimes he felt a little lonely.

One afternoon, during a heavy rain, a young woman ran into the shop. Her name was Thu. She had caught the flu a few days before and was still weak. She slipped on the wet floor and almost fell over a chair. “Oh my god, I'm so sorry!” she said. Minh helped her to a seat and made her a hot bowl of soup. “Eat this,” he said. “It will help you cope with the cold.”

They began to talk — first about the weather, then about everything. They talked in detail about their dreams. Despite the gap in their ages — he was older by a couple of years — they had so much in common. Both came from small villages far from the city. Both loved old music. Both had a cat with soft fur at home. “How is this possible?” Thu laughed. “We are like the same person!” “There is one exception,” Minh said. “Your smile is brighter than mine.”

From that day, Thu came to the shop each afternoon — either rain or shine. The pink umbrella by the door was hers now, always waiting. Many customers smiled when they saw them together. “Those two will likely get married,” said the old lady who sold flowers. If you ask Minh, he will say the rain brought her to him. Thu herself says it was the smell of fried noodles. Minh himself believes it was simply meant to be.

At the end of that month, many bills were due, due to the new tables he had bought. On the radio, the news spoke of a robber with a gun somewhere far away, but inside the little shop, the world felt safe and warm. Happiness, Minh learned, does not consist of money — it is made of small moments. The shop itself seemed warmer now. Thu would carry the tray on her hip, humming a song, and few places on earth felt more alive. Everywhere he looked, he saw a reason to smile.
