[Verse 1]
In a corner of the school's old hall
A laboratory — proud and small
A girl with questions in her eyes:
“Every fact begins with 'why?'”
[Pre]
Imagine first, then test, then learn
Imagination lights the turn
An idea is a tiny seed
Knowledge is the light it needs
[Chorus]
Think with logic, dream with fire
Be logical — but aim up higher
Intelligent is more than smart
Intelligence includes the heart
Every reason finds its result
The power of a curious mind
Is the greatest gift you'll find
[Verse 2]
She measures force with springs and weights
“Measure twice” — that's how she creates
Each measurement on a notebook line
A pattern forms — a grand design
Glass beakers, liquid blue and bright
An instrument that sings at night
Iron filings dance, the metal gleams
Gold is rare — but so are dreams
Plastic bottles? She gives them life
Recycled material — second life
[Bridge]
What's the matter? Break it down
Every issue can be solved
Step by step, level by level
A method clear, a steady model
Each phase of testing, page by page
Pressure makes the diamond glow
A principle she's come to know:
Quality over quantity
Practice daily — practically
A practical mind with pointed aim
Her objective stays the same:
To make an impact, leave a trace
Influence the human race
A memory her teacher gave:
“Small hands can make the mass behave”
[Outro]
The point is not to win a prize
It's seeing wonder with new eyes
The little inventor — watch her rise

English
In a corner of our school stands a small, proud laboratory, and in that laboratory works Nhi — a girl whose every sentence begins with a question. “Every fact,” she says, “starts with a 'why'.” Her teacher calls it the first principle of science; her mother calls it “the reason dinner gets cold.”
This year Nhi entered the science fair. Her idea was simple and practical: a water filter built from old plastic bottles, sand, charcoal and a glass jar — recycled material turned into clean water. “The water issue in flood season is real,” she explained. “I wanted a result, not a ribbon.” Her objective never changed: a filter any family could build for practically nothing.
Her method was patient. She would measure everything twice, write each measurement on a neat line, and watch for a pattern in the numbers. She tested the force of falling water, the pressure at each level of sand, the mass of charcoal against the quantity of clean drops — always quality first. Iron filings, a metal mesh, a liquid sample dyed blue, one borrowed instrument from the physics shelf — phase by phase, her model improved. “What's the matter?” her little brother asked when one test failed. “Nothing,” she grinned. “Failure is data.”
At the fair, a judge asked why she looked so calm. “Logic keeps me steady,” Nhi answered, “and imagination keeps me moving. To imagine is the start; to be logical is the road.” The judge smiled: “That is an intelligent answer.” “My grandmother says intelligence includes the heart,” Nhi added, “and knowledge shared is knowledge doubled.” She won no gold medal that day — second prize, silver — but the village committee asked for ten filters before Tet.
Her teacher wrote one memory into her notebook: “Small hands can make the mass behave.” Nhi keeps it next to her daily practice log. “The point was never the prize,” she says. “The point is impact — the quiet power to influence one small corner of the world. That is the most powerful thing a curious mind can do. And for that, I have one more reason to wake up early tomorrow.”
